Comments made by the Environment Agency after our Environmental Pollution Prevention and Hazardous Waste Regulations visit.

Waste Disposal : The waste streams are disposed of via reputable, registered companies and the documentation inspected showed compliance with Duty of Care.

Hazardous Waste: The storage facilities for the hazardous waste was considered excellent, the environmental agency was most impressed with the Belfast sink system for ensuring the waste oil tank could not be overfilled. Using the oil separator facility of removing water from the oil tank was considered to be an example of best practise.

General comments: The standard of housekeeping and organisation observed at Cambs Compressors premises was very good. The oil storage facilities were considered excellent and compliant with relevant legislation.
