Keeping on track to deliver the best Compressed Air solutions, support and maintenance.
'IT guru' Charlie Colquhoun, explains the roll-out of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
Implementing the ERP means integrating all of the processes needed to run Cambs Compressors within a single system. It means customers 'compressed air system profile' and history will be instantly accessible, making planning visits and responding to issues much more efficient. All jobs are recorded instantly, which means company-wide communication is immediate and any parts or components required can be ordered without delay. Our service is tailored to the complexities and unique workflows of your business, enabling us to provide even higher service levels.
Cloud based ERP system investment driving efficiencies
The Cambs Compressors cloud-based ERP systems will manage customer records, assets and help us to provide enhanced levels of support. When fully integrated, the cloud-based business system will manage all aspects of Cambs Compressors. It's been soft launched with trial period working with companies like Wright Engineering throughout 2021. The initial phased roll-out of 2022, starting with the apprentice field engineers, is well underway. The full 'company-wide' switch later in 2022 will be a smoother transition, thanks to this approach and the lessons learned. This is because the companies working with us have really helped us refine and optimise what we are going to be able to offer all clients. It means we'll be working above and beyond the expectations of most clients and these new processes will help us create intelligent reporting for actionable insights.
The new system will make all required information available digitally, instantly, via any device capable of accessing the internet.
