“After 18 years as Stores Manager at Cambs Compressors, I felt the time was right for a new challenge, so in 2022 I moved to a local company in a more sales-oriented role. Those three years away gave me the chance to develop my commercial skills, build confidence in customer engagement and see the compressed air industry from a different angle.

But it also gave me a real appreciation for what makes Cambs so special. This is a company with strong values — a commitment to reliability, customer care and doing things properly — and those values run through everything they do. Our client base is incredibly diverse, spanning manufacturing, food production, aerospace, agriculture and countless other sectors. Many of those customers have been with Cambs for decades, and the trust that has been built up over those relationships is something I’m proud to be part of again.

Reconnecting with Clients and Colleagues
It’s been fantastic to reconnect with the team and our clients, many of whom I’ve known for years. I feel my combined experience — the deep technical knowledge from my time in stores, plus the customer-focused skills from my sales role — means I can really add value. My focus now is on helping Cambs be even more responsive on quotes and supporting our customers with the expertise and service they’ve come to expect.
