Summer BBQ Thank you!

November 1, 2021

Cambs Compressors end of summer BBQ was to take the time out to say thank you to our fabulous staff and customers.

Challenging 18 months for everyone

It's hard to imagine now what a shock it was, when the pandemic first lockdown was announced. The uncertainty of what the future held, how businesses would survive and just how long this might last, caused great concern. Yet within a few days, Cambs Compressors was being called upon to support the essential businesses. Helping food producers maintain manufacturing, supporting pharmaceutical companies with their compressed air needs, as well as contributing to the open Ventilator System Initiative (OVSI).

A chance to thank our people and our customers

In those early months having our team at Cambs Compressors rally to support our customers, whether working from home or on the road. Our amazing field engineers, who with their official letters to prove they were deemed essential workers, carried on despite the horrific news of daily increasing COVID death rates. 18 months on it seems we have turned a corner, lockdowns have come and gone and our people have adapted to the new working processes. I look back on these past months with enormous pride on the team we have here at Cambs Compressors and the way we have positively contributed during the nations time of need.

The ability to change is our people’s key strength

"The thing that has impressed me most about our team here at Cambs Compressors, has been their ability to adapt and change. Whether asked to work remotely from home, work in a Covid safe format which at one point seemed to change weekly with the different government advice. As well as adapting to the new IT systems, new offices, new equipment – even working with team members on different continents."
