A standard industrial screw compressor requires approximately 0.18 kW to generate 1 CFM at 7 bar.

  • 1.98 kW x 4,380 Annual Hours (based on 12 hours per day) = 8,672 kWh/year
  • At a tariff of 20p/kWh that single 3mm leak would cost £1,734 per year in wasted electricity
